  1.  This Pose Strengthens Hands, Wrists, and Fingers:- 

    Because it is a weight-bearing Yoga Asana, This pose is good to strengthen your hands and wrists and help prepare you for other postures where there is a lot of weight in the hands.
  2. Opens up the backs of the legs:-

    Downward dog facing pose stretches and widens the calves, the hamstrings,  and the Achilles tendon.
  3. This Pose is good for proper circulation of blood in the body:-

    During Downward Dog Facing pose your head  is lower than your heart, so it improves the blood flow through your body.
  4. This Asana relieves tension and stress:- 

    Adho Mukhi Svanasana helps to relieve tension from the neck and back. The flow of blood to the brain helps to relieve head pain, mental fogginess, and depression.
  5. This Pose strengthens the upper body :- 

    The stabilizing position of this Yoga Asana  strengthens muscles in the arms, upper back and shoulders.
  6. Downward Dog Facing PoseElongates the spine.
