This is a simple and basic version of a layered prayer table that our master craftsman has created. Traditionally, the prayer tables and temples in India are elaborate. This layered design features three different designs:
Design 1: This is the first base layer. The design of this table is more like a bridge like base. The dimensions are indicated in the pictures as well.
Design 2: This is the second layer also called the medium table. The dimensions are indicated in the picture. This medium table can be placed over the Design 1 base table.
Design 3: This is the third layer and the smallest table out of all the three designs. Dimensions are indicated in the pictures, this table can be placed on top of design 1 (to create a two layered table) OR design 2 (to create a two layered table) OR on top of Design 1+ 2 to create a three layered table.

Each of the designs can be bought separately or in combination with the others.

* This particular batch is made with Indian elm tree (also called Karanj Papri in our native and local dialect). The Indian Elm tree is a a large deciduous tree and most native to Indian sub continent. The Elm tree has several medicinal benefits as well. Our intent is to use the local available resources to create pieces that are truly unique and yet sturdy.

* The completed raw piece is finish-polished to give it a good shine.
Important Information about these Pieces:
Please note each of these benches is hand chiseled, hand carved. There can be number of imperfections owing to the type of wood available, the grains on the wood, manual process of creating these pieces. These are not factory mass produced products so we urge you to embrace these imperfections as part of the handmade process. We personally oversee every piece here in our studio and send you the piece that our craftsmen so lovingly create.
We believe each piece has a home and it certainly finds its way to that home!
